The grease we use is of excellent quality.
It comes from Ireland (we have not found fat meeting our specifications and of equal quality to this one in France or organically), a country renowned for the quality of its breeding methods and its rich grass, where the cattle stay six to eight months in pastures where they seek their own food in their "natural" environment.
Thus, 95% of their diet is based on fresh or harvested grass.

This fat is deodorized with water vapor, and bleached and purified with clayey earth.
It therefore does not contain any impurities or irritating, allergenic or dangerous substances.

It is analyzed and subject to strict veterinary and regulatory standards since, like the meat from which it comes, it is intended for human consumption.

Grasse's flowers have notably built its history: these rare flowers of the country have given birth to treasures, cherished by the inhabitants. You can find in Grasse's productions a variety of floral scents such as orange blossom, mimosa, rose, lavender or myrtle. Jasmine is the most widespread, recognized as the "mythical" flower of the city.
It is also in Grasse that many legendary perfumes were created. A true nest of inspiration and poetry, the city of Grasse enchants and delights perfumers! CHANEL, DIOR, ROCHAS among others were born in the city of perfume.
The world of perfume in Grasse represents many professions, but it is above all linked to an art and a historical know-how that has been passed down for centuries.

The fragrance that we add to our Face, Body and Hair Scented Balms is very light and has scents of, among others, orange blossom, jasmine and vanilla.
The beeswax we use in our lip balms is capping wax, which is the film that bees apply to honeycombs to close them. They produce it using their wax glands from the nectar they collect.
As beeswax has the property of fixing pollutants, it is very important to buy it organic so that it does not contain any chemical substances coming from, among other things, anti-parasitic acaricide treatments given to hives in conventional beekeeping.
Our partner and supplier Occimiel, beekeeper and producer of high quality honey from Lozère and Aveyron, is committed to respecting nature and advocates organic farming for which it has obtained Organic (AB) certification for its honey and beehive products.
The wax we use is therefore pure, of high quality, and produced only with noble flowers: thyme, chestnut, sainfoin, heather in particular.
